Today I want to witness to you about something that happened to my sister yesterday and how she could see God working the background. The second witness is the recounting of a story my friend told me when God miraculously answered her prayers about grocery money. God is so good and you will see a glimpse of that goodness in both witnesses today! I know you will love them as much as I loved sharing them with you! We have all seen God working in our lives, however, we might not all be aware it is God who is working in our lives. This is why it is so important we start talking about it more. The more we share our experiences the more people understand how God works and how much He truly loves us. If you would be willing to share any experience you have had of how God has worked or is working your life, please email me at catherine@findingtruenorthcoaching.com or just click here. It won’t take up much of your time and your story could be just the story that someone needs to hear today. Prayerfully consider sharing. Everyone has a story and the world needs to hear them. I look forward to spending time with you again tomorrow and I will have another witness for you next Wednesday. Remember Jesus loves you and so do I. Have a blessed day!
Today I want to witness to you about something that happened to my sister yesterday and how she could see God working the background. My sister’s dog Nyla was injured on their walk in the woods yesterday. She lets Nyla run off leash in the woods so Nyla can get a lot of exercise and have fun at the same time. Yesterday Nyla and Dee got separated for a bit. When Nyla came back to Dee she was panting and out of breath. Dee thought it was from a lot of running so she put her in the car and they went home. When she got home Dee realized she had a gash on her chest and brought her straight to the emergency room. The vet was able to stitch Nyla’s gash and give her pain medicine. When I was talking with Dee as she waited for Nyla’s surgery she was explaining the ways that she could see God working in the background. The first one was that Dee had the flyer for the animal hospital right on her table when she got home and saw the gash. She didn’t really know anything about this hospital. However, she was planning to get up at 4 to walk Nyla. She happened to wake up at 3 and couldn’t get back to sleep. She decided to go through a stack of papers on her desk instead of wasting that hour. In that stack of papers was this flyer for the animal hospital so she took it out and put it on her table. She had no idea she would need it just two hours or so later, but God did! Next were a series of decisions she made about money. Taking your dog to the emergency room is expensive. The last time Dee got paid there were a couple different decisions that she made that she felt were God working in the background. She had $400 to put towards something and several options to choose from. However, she felt strongly that she should put it towards her credit card balance. She then made another decision with her finances and had more money that she wouldn’t normally have and she put the towards her credit card balance as well. She believes all those situations were God working in the background because the balance on her credit card was the same amount as the vet bill was. How amazing is that? God is so good. She had no idea she was going to need all that money on her card. If she would have put that money towards something else, she would not have had the money for the animal hospital bill. It is always scary when our pets have to go into the hospital and it is also scary when we don’t know how we will pay for them. God took care of her and she didn’t need to worry. She was very grateful. Nyla is now at home resting up. Prayers for a speedy recovery would be appreciated as I am sure Nyla does not want to sit around waiting to get better. She loves to run!
I would also like to witness about another friend of mine today. I had a friend share with me a story one time of how God miraculously answered her prayers about money as well. She was really struggling financially. She was sitting in the parking lot outside the dollar store where she was going to do her grocery shopping. She was making a list of the bare essentials that she needed as she had three children and she needed to make sure she had enough food. I don’t remember the exact numbers but I think she had $20 or so for groceries for the week. She had gotten to the store before it opened and she had her daughter in the car. She was looking at her list and looking at the $20 she had and knew she didn’t have enough money. She closed her eyes and thought, “If I just had 50 more dollars I could make this work.” She no sooner had that thought when her daughter saw something fly by wind and fall on the ground of the parking lot. Before my friend could say anything her daughter jumped out of the car and picked up what she saw fly by. She gave it to her mother. It was a $50 bill. There was no one else in that parking lot. It was a miracle. God heard her request. She didn’t even have to ask God, He heard the request of her heart and gave it to her. God is so good. He always takes care of us! He knows the things we worry about. He knows what we need. He hears the whispers of our heart.
I am so grateful to both of these ladies for sharing their stories with me so I could share them with you. God works in all of our lives, whether we know it or not. God is working in your life too. Even if you don’t see how. Even if you don’t recognize his work. I wonder if you would see Him more if you were looking for Him more? I wonder if you think about the last time something happened and you thought, “Oh, what a coincidence, that worked out really well.” What if it wasn’t a coincidence? What if your heavenly Father arranged all of that just for you? Would it make a difference in how you viewed that situation? Would it change your life if you started seeing all the ways God is working in your life, even in the small details? Try looking for God more in your days and then email or reach out to me on social media and let me know if it does make a difference? I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
