Walk Boldly With Jesus

Witness Wednesday #64 Louise L. (2)

Episode Summary

The witness today is Louise Larose. We have heard her witness before as she was one of the very first ones. When I started Witness Wednesday it was because our prayer group was putting on a Life in the Spirit Seminar and there were several people who commented that they really loved hearing all the testimonies. I agreed and felt like testimonies are a great way to share the faith. Sometimes hearing someone’s story is easier to relate to than the other things we may be teaching. Pope Paul VI once said, “Contemporary man listens more willingly to witnesses than to teachers, or if he listens to teachers, he does so because they are witnesses.” This speaks to the power of witnessing. In today’s witness Louise is giving another talk for a Life in the Spirit Seminar. Her talk is about New Life. I did not use the whole talk, although I did use most of it because she gives such beautiful examples of her life and how she found new life in the Charismatic Renewal and a baptism in the Holy Spirit. Louise is co-leader of the Charismatic Prayer Group that meets at St. John’s church in Chelmsford. If you are listening to this and would like to see what a Charismatic Prayer Group is all about you are welcome to join our meetings on Thursday mornings from 10-11. If you aren’t local, no worries, we are on zoom as well. Check out my website at walkboldlywithjesus.com and then click on the section titled charismatic prayer group, or click on the link in our show notes. Today Louise talks about how she felt once she joined a Charismatic prayer group. She also describes to us a bit about speaking tongues and the gifts the Holy Spirit. It is a great talk and I know you will love it. We have all seen God working in our lives, however, we might not all be aware it is God who is working in our lives.  This is why it is so important we start talking about it more.  The more we share our experiences the more people understand how God works and how much He truly loves us.  If you would be willing to share any experience you have had of how God has worked or is working your life, please email me at catherine@findingtruenorthcoaching.com or just click here.  It won’t take up much of your time and your story could be just the story that someone needs to hear today.  Prayerfully consider sharing.  Everyone has a story and the world needs to hear them.  I look forward to spending time with you again tomorrow and I will have another witness for you next Wednesday.  Remember Jesus loves you and so do I. Have a blessed day!
